The Lodge at Old Hunstanton is the perfect base for discovering everything that North West Norfolk has to offer.
Some of Norfolk's most historic halls and houses are situated very close to The Lodge. Sandringham House, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, St Georges Guildhall and Blickling Hall are all nearby.
Norfolk is also one of the country’s leading bird watching areas and the North Norfolk coast between Hunstanton and Blakeney is particularly famous. This includes the RSPB at Titchwell, Holme Nature Reserve, and Scolt Head Island.
Holme is only three miles away and Snettisham RSPB Reserve is just seven miles away. The National Nature Reserve at Holkham, Blakeney Point and Cley Reserve offer the opportunity to see wildlife in its natural habitat. From Brancaster Staithe, you can even catch a ferry to Scolt Head Island.
The Lodge at Old Hunstanton is conveniently located for visiting many of Norfolk's leading places of interest. Shoppers can visit Burnham
Market, Le Strange Old Barns or Hunstanton. Burnham Thorpe, Nelson's birthplace and the Sealife Sanctuary in Hunstanton are well worth
a visit. For golfers, some of Norfolk's best courses, including Old Hunstanton and the Royal and West Norfolk at Brancaster are just down
the road.
The cathedral cities of Norwich, Cambridge and Ely are within easy reach, as is the shrine of Walsingham - just a few miles away. The market
towns of Hunstanton, Fakenham and King’s Lynn, all within a 30 minute drive are also well worth a visit.
