Nestled in the heart of the old village, The Lodge in Old Hunstanton Norfolk offers a relaxed and casual experience - perfectly combining the traditional with the contemporary.

Conveniently situated only 500 yards from Old Hunstanton beach, coastal walks and Old Hunstanton Golf Course.

The food is simply sumptuous, our specials blackboard changes daily - with an emphasis on fresh fish and locally sourced produce. For the ultimate treat, try our homemade puddings.

Dine in the bar, outside in the veranda garden or enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the dining room. The bar offers a great selection of wines and real ales.

We have 16 beautiful, well appointed accommodation rooms , which are simply fantastic, and 5 luxury self-contained cottages . “The Loft” and “The Attic” rooms are superior accommodation suites with sea views across rooftops. Our Courtyard rooms are individually special. Most of the rooms have super king size beds, and all accommodation is equipped to a high standard, with flat screen televisions, modern en-suites and warm, fluffy bath towels.

The Lodge Tripadvisor Bravo

We stayed for 1 night, staff are friendly and helpfull, great location just 5mins from the beach, the room was clean and very comftable, the breakfast was good quality and very tasty, there is nothing I can fault about our stay.

The room was lovely - well furnished and with a good bathroom. Lots of tea and coffee. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was piping hot and freshly cooked. I would perhaps have liked another option to toast, such as croissants or fresh bread, but the toast was good anyway! The location was excellent - close to the beach and coastal path. We ate twice in the evening and once at luchtime and the food and service were very good on each occasion.

We had a family break, staying in 3 rooms for 2 nights (5 in our party). The food is excellent and the staff were very friendly/helpful. We would fully recommend The Lodge.

The shuttle bus, a white 8 seater minibus, will run from Hunstanton Bus Station along Cliff Parade and collect at all stops up to the Lighthouse in Old Hunstanton, it then heads back into Hunstanton and down to Heacham via Ringstead to Holme Crossroads  where passengers transfer to and from the Coasthopper 2, the shuttle service then heads back towards Hunstanton on the A149 and after the Lodge Hotel turns sharp right passing Le Strange Arms before looping back onto the A149 up to Holme and then back into Hunstanton via Ringstead.
