As the days lengthen and the weather warms, Hunstanton’s summer season gets into full swing. The Lodge is the perfect spot to pitstop and refuel, so put these dates in your diary for some fantastic family fun…
• 15 June: Hunstanton 10k Beach Run – go the distance for the Stroke Association and raise some cash for this fantastic charity.
• 30 July: The 133rd Sandringham Flower Show – there can be few things more quintessentially English than a summer flower show and Sandringham does it in style, often with a royal or two in tow, so join us for dinner afterwards and tell us about your great day out.
• 15-17 August: Old Hunstanton Flower Festival – slightly smaller but no less spectacular, this year’s event promises to be something special with music by the Nelson’s Shantymen and the Hunstanton Concert Band to accompany a literary-themed floral display.
• 17 August: Hunstanton Kite Festival – as the name suggests, plus air displays, classic cars and motorcycles and plenty of kids’ activities. Enjoy a family day out and why not book dinner at The Lodge to round off the occasion?
• 17-23 August: Hunstanton Lawn Tennis Tournament – who needs Centre Court? Enjoy some first class tennis on your doorstep before enjoying Pimm’s and strawberries at The Lodge.
