The seasons seem to be all over the place at the moment – with the hottest September day on record, followed by a few autumnal moments, but we’re hanging onto the last golden rays.
Inspired on one summery afternoon, we headed to Old Hunstanton beach with some friends and a range of The Lodge’s superb gins to let the moment linger a little longer.
Gin is enjoying a renaissance at the moment, with the choice on offer wider than ever. Some G&T drinkers are reluctant to deviate from their usual brand, but on this occasion we managed to convince our guests to mix it up a bit – and they were all pleasantly surprised.
There are some fantastic nuances in flavour and with the addition of Fever-Tree tonics, they are as spectacular as the outlook on a sun-kissed beach.
